The Equaliser, just take a breath

If you're getting in a tangle about your breathing, just remember that it's simply an equalisation of pressure.

When you exhale, the external pressure (outside your body) is greater than the pressure inside your lungs so the air has to rush in to equalise the pressure. When you inhale, the pressure inside your lungs is greater than the pressure outside, so the air has to rush out to equalise the pressure again.
